Light moving across old walls. Quiet courtyards, warm textures, still water, and spaces shaped by time.

Mestizo, Yucatán unfolds through quiet transitions — between interior and landscape, shadow and warmth, history and the present.

Each space carries traces of what came before, reinterpreted with restraint and intention.

This is the house in fragments: architecture, atmosphere, and the beauty of what remains.

Witness of time. Home to new stories.

Mestizo, Yucatán was born from the desire to preserve a place with a story already written into its walls.

Set in the heart of Mérida, the property has lived through different eras, owners, and ways of life. Time left its mark on its arches, its proportions, its textures, and even in the quiet of the years it spent abandoned. Rather than erase that past, Mestizo was conceived as a way to bring it forward.

The restoration was guided by respect for what was already here. Original architectural details were preserved whenever possible, while new elements were introduced with restraint—creating a dialogue between Yucatán’s heritage and a more contemporary way of living.

Today, Mestizo is an intimate collection of villas and suites designed for those who want to experience Mérida at a different pace. Spaces open onto gardens, terraces, water, and quiet corners; materials feel natural and tactile; and each room carries its own character while remaining part of the same story.

More than a place to stay, Mestizo, Yucatán is an invitation to inhabit a historic home for a few days—to slow down, discover the rhythms of Yucatán, and become part of a story that continues to unfold.
